For engineers

Transport planning that sits with your highway design.

The access strategy, visibility and design standards agreed with the highways officer at planning, so your detailed design starts from a fixed position, with Road Safety Audits coordinated for you.

How we work with you

Built around the way you already work.

Agreed before you detail it

We settle the access type, visibility and design standard with the council at planning stage, so the detailed design is not reopened later.

The right standard for the road

Manual for Streets or DMRB, applied where each belongs, with any relaxations identified and justified early.

Your design stays yours

We work from your base mapping and CAD layout, keep the planning evidence consistent with your design, and never go around you.

FAQ

Questions we get asked

Do you do the detailed highway design?

No. Detailed design for Section 278 and Section 38 works stays with you. We provide the planning evidence, keep the design true to the consent, and deal with the transport side of technical approval comments.

Can you arrange the Road Safety Audit?

Yes. We coordinate an independent audit team for Stage 1 and Stage 2 audits and help prepare the Designer’s Response.

Will your drawings work with ours?

Yes. Send your CAD layout and base mapping, and our visibility and tracking drawings will match them.
